Kimber here. It's been a long time since I've blogged on the Jillibean blog. Hope everyone is doing well!
I'm super excited that today is WORLD CARD MAKING DAY! I LOVE making cards! I can't wait to spend some time today whipping up a few for my family & friends. I hope you all can enjoy the day as well.
To kick things off, we have a prize to give away here on the blog. All you need to do is leave a comment and let me know what your plans are for the day. We'll select a winner on Monday and I will ship out your prize to you!
The prize is some of our newest goodies to be released -- Soup Staples III papers and Mix the Media Embellishments. Great pattern papers that mix and match and work great for both men and women. The embellishments are fantastic! Vellum, layered stars, butterflies and hearts, kraft tags in different shapes and sizes and finally wire words. They are great for cards! Add them to a card with mini glue dots, a bit of glue or even a few staples.
Check out some fun things happening around the web today.
Many of our team members are on the Scrapbook & Cards Today design team. They will be featured throughout the day on the SCT blog for World Card Making Day. We are giving away a few goodies with my post at 11am. Don't miss it!!!
Here's a sneak peek of my card... shhhh!

Good morning everyone! Let me introduce this month's Guest Designer Carolina Schulz!
Carolina is 34 years young and from Chile, a thin and long country in South America. She lives with the love of her life and their little daughter. She has a Bachelors in Translation of English and Japanese languages and works full-time as a translator in the Chilean office of a Canadian company.
She loved scrapbooking from the moment an American friend introduced her to it. Since then, she has enjoyed working on her albums. She must admit that she is a layout person, but she also enjoys home decor projects. Once in awhile, she makes something cute for the house or to give as a present. This year, for the very first time, she is working on Project Life and loves it. Maybe as a consequence of this, she has also discovered the joy of making mini albums. She is so excited to try out this new format.
In general, her projects are simple, clean, colorful, and playful. So, Jillibean is perfect for her! She is so glad to be sharing some projects with us, hopes that we like them, and are inspired to create with Jillibean's fabulous stuff too!
